This beautiful 400-year-old private residence was suffering from deteriorating wall finishes caused by salt-laden and humid masonry. Previous plaster systems had failed prematurely due to poor compatibility with the historic substrate and inadequate resistance to salt. The existing cement and gypsum plasters were removed to expose the original stonework, which was carefully cleaned before applying the Rofix Anti-Salt Treatment. The walls were then renovated using the Rofix SanoCalce System to provide a durable and breathable restoration solution.
